Exploring How Aging Life Care Professionals Navigate & Guide the Aging Journey

This program will explore the role of the Aging Life Care Professional ® and how older adults can optimize care management services in Aging Life Care ® planning. The rapid aging of America as it intersects with an increasingly fragmented health care system will be discussed, and the concepts of informed advocacy and control and choice over health care outcomes will be explored through case history discussions. The importance of creating goals and objectives around an “aging ideal” will be discussed along with useful resources and tools to start the planning process.
