Physician in the Kitchen: Spring into Health

Join Dr. James Trapasso, a Family Medicine practitioner with NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Hudson Valley, and learn about nutrition and tips to reset your body for Spring. Along with this informative discussion, also join Chef Berner as she demonstrates cooking a healthy meal! The Teaching Kitchen is part of the Harvest for Health initiative at NYP Hudson Valley Hospital. The larger program includes an organic garden, a farmer’s market and food service for patients and employees. The program’s goal is to teach people how to better manage their health through diet and lifestyle changes. Presented by NYP Hudson Valley Hospital in Partnership with The Somers Library.
