Spiritual Resilience: Five Qualities for Greater Ease in Difficult Times
Spiritual Resilience: Five Qualities for Greater Ease in Difficult Times
Tuesdays, March 2 – April 6, 4:00 PM – 500 PM
We are living in extremely unpredictable and challenging times. But we are not the first generation to experience difficult circumstances we cannot control. Nor are we the first to draw on a variety of spiritual resources to help us tap into our innate resilience and strength. In this six-session course we will draw upon the wisdom of spiritual traditions in exploring five qualities that can help keep us grounded and vital: gratitude, courage, joy, connection and trust. This interactive course will draw on traditional Jewish texts, mindfulness techniques, concrete practical activities, and a combination of individual, small group and whole group interactions with the goal of providing you with a rich toolbox for cultivating resilience. Led by Rabbi Lisa Goldstein, Facilitator at Institute for Jewish Spirituality
