The Poets Among Us: Community Celebration of National Poetry Month

Benjamin Aleshire, a twenty-first century troubadour, travels the world and composes poems for strangers. His poetry and essays have been published in The Times (UK), Boston Review, The Poetry Foundation, and more! Benjamin will perform a selection of his poems and discuss his life as a poet-for-hire with a typewriter, followed by a Q&A and an open mic. During this program, we welcome you to share a short piece of your own writing with the DOROT community to celebrate National Poetry Month!
