    Readers and food enthusiasts are invited to come together and explore the ways in which food connects, speaks to, and shapes us. Join the new A Stew and a Story Book Club and read both fiction and nonfiction where the culinary plays a defining role in the story. In July we’ll discuss Eat a Peach by David Chang. Books are available to pick up at the Library.

Author and writing teacher, Kim Kovach, brings fun, fresh ideas to help participants turn life events and memories into interesting personal nonfiction stories.

    Beginners Knitting with Benny

    Whether one wants something mindless to do while watching tv or a challenge that takes your full attention -- knitting is a rewarding hobby to learn. It is proven to aid in stress relief and anxiety reduction; it’s also great for gifting and charity.

    Join Benny for a FREE six-week beginner knitting program beginning June 16 from 6 - 7:30 pm. The library will provide the space and knitting supplies.
