The sounds of marching bands, combined with Ragtime's syncopated rhythms, may have led to the rise of Jazz. Yet the 1920s' concept of jazz is not the same one we hold today around this beloved genre. Join us for this special four-week workshop as we trace the development and definition of jazz all the way from Dixieland to the sound of Big Bands.
