  • Brain Health Salon: Dance, Creativity and the Brain

    Virtual Presentation

    Brain health is often on our mind. But have you wondered what it is exactly that we can do to support our brain health? Join dancer, researcher and creative aging teaching artist Magda Kaczmarska for an hour of exploration, discussion and movement to learn about how dance, movement and creativity help make us stronger, more adaptive and engaged in the world around us. Together, we will learn about the brain across the lifespan and try out some activities we can do to sharpen our brain. All are welcome! We will move together, so wear something comfortable. All activities can be done seated or standing.

  • Broadways’ Best: Iconic Dance Numbers and Choreographers

    Join retired Broadway veteran & former Radio City Rockette, Debra Vega, as she takes us on a journey through Iconic Broadway Dance Choreography in this 6-week lecture/demo series. Each week we will learn a new section of original Broadway choreography from a select show, a little about the choreographer behind the movement, and hear about Debra's personal stories from her time performing. Featured shows included A Chorus Line, West Side Story, The Radio City Christmas Spectacular and many more!
