  • Eat, Pray, Love: Yiddish Style

    Virtual Presentation

Together we will welcome back Roslyn Sholin, who excavated decades of forgotten materials in her grandmother's home and saw how world history influences personal history, foreign languages and family. All the old objects she rediscovered provide the framework for a Polish Jewish American immigrant story. This multi-media program is a peek into her family’s life from cradle to grave, as documented in Yiddish (though, our program will be given in English!). Roslyn's collection will show us how our Yiddish-speaking ancestors communicated day to day.
