Mrs. Lowry & Son – Timothy Spall brings in another fantastic artist portrayal, this time as the English painter LS Lowry. The drama follows the artist’s life and career in conjunction with his relationship with his mother, who tried to dissuade him from following his passion . With riveting performances by Vanessa Redgrave & Spall. This film is shown in conjunction with the March 24 art class this week on the artist’s works.
